And, if you’re anything like me, you’ll have tried (and failed) many-a times when it comes to New Year’s Resolutions and giving up the sweet stuff for Lent.
It’s just too good. The problem is, of course, it’s not so good for my waistline.
That is, until now. Well, kind of.
NUFF (Natural Unprocessed Fat-Burning Food) have taken the worst bits out of our favourite brownie, cookie and doughnut recipes, cutting down the saturated fats, carbs and sugars, to make a slightly healthier version.
They’ve even upped the protein content, slashed sugar and added in super-foods such as raw cacao and coconut oil. And, they look pretty tasty too. Check them out here:
At a time when so-called “super-foods” are having a moment, and we’re all looking for ways to make our diets that little bit better, especially with Summer just round the corner and the start of a new year… I think NUFF have hit the proverbial nail on the head. Thanks to these almost guilt-free varieties, you don’t have to pass up on your favourite treats.
And the catch?
Well, it doesn’t really look like there is one. Yes, a box of a dozen doughnuts costs £14 compared to £9 at Krispy Kreme, and you can only order doughnuts at the moment, but if you’re looking for a healthier treat, you’re on to a winner here.

In the interest of balance and fairness, I think I’ll just have to try one to see if they’re as good as the “real” thing. But I have a sneaky feeling they’re going to taste great!
