So this post is a little bit delayed, but its because we have been so busy with on-boarding our new clients and starting to sort out and clear the backlog of work that we’ve taken on – all good news, and none of it would have been possible without us taking on a new member of the team here at Great Elm.
Introducing Lynda Pearce, who is one of 2 new bookkeepers that we have hired recently along with a new administration lady too. I will be posting about the new additions in the future, and adding them to our meet the team page, but today is all about Lynda… She has been with us for the last few months and hit the ground running. What an asset she has been to Great Elm, not only a smart and friendly lady to have around the office, but she is fabulous at ensuring that our clients get all their paperwork to us on time so we can provide them with efficient and timely bookkeeping and management accounts.
So over to Lynda, here’s a bit more about her in Lynda’s own words!!
“Hello, I’m Lynda…
I am a Bookkeeper at Great Elm Bookkeepers.
I started working from Great Elm Bookkeepers in November 2016 after working in Schools Finance for approximately 15 years. I am AAT (NVQ 4) qualified and have been bookkeeping for nearly 20 years. I recently achieved the Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management also known as the Diploma for School Business Managers (NVQ 5). I usually work Monday to Wednesday out of the Wells office, but do visit clients as required.
I enjoy learning new software packages and bookkeeping for various clients enables me to use various finance packages such as Xero, Quickbooks Online, FreeAgent and Sage. I am also proficient in Excel and use this to manipulate data exported from the finance packages. I enjoy helping others make the most of their businesses by ensuring that their accounts are as up to date as possible and providing them with the necessary management and trading information that they need to enable them to make the correct decisions to progress their business further.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking my Springer Spaniel, gardening and photography. I used to be the accredited photographer for the AMCA (Amateur Motorcycle Association) for the old Avon area.”
Lynda – welcome to the team and thank you so much for all you have done so far to get Great Elm Bookkeepers up and noticed, with fabulous testimonials from her clients. We hope you enjoy being part of the Great Elm Family!!
